  • "Living self-determined means quality of life. Thanks to the advance care planning from Funeral Planning, I can count on it even if I am no longer able to make my own decisions. Professional, uncomplicated, and worth every penny."

    Susanne (ZH)

  • "We can highly recommend Ms. Schärz. With her pragmatic and uncomplicated manner, she guided us safely through the advance directive. Within just 2 hours, everything was settled. We were so convinced that we immediately gave Ms. Schärz's service as a gift to our mothers."

    Michael & Tanja (ZH)

  • "Regarding the advance directive for my mother, we were able to involve Ms. Barbara Schärz and benefit from her knowledge. My mother is very suspicious of service providers. However, Ms. Schärz nevertheless won her over positively. So positively that this "important story" with the advance care plan is now also a topic in the extended family circle. We will actively recommend Ms. Schärz. Her service convinced us from A to Z. Thank you very much for the great service."

Stories

My personal story

My father, Peter, suffered from dementia for many years and lived in a nursing home. Due to a change in the law, I discovered that I was no longer able to make any decisions for him. For example, he was transferred to another nursing home without my knowledge. I only found out where he was when I arrived at the old home to find it empty. It was a very frustrating time.

I only had access to his documents after his death.

It's important to know that KESB services are not free.

Sometimes, the need for an advance disposition arises more quickly than you think. I helped Max and Bea create their advance disposition package. They were relieved to have everything in order. The very next day, Bea had a serious accident. Her daughter-in-law, Marie, called me frantically, looking for the document.

It was a shock for me too, and it underscored the fact that you never know when you might need this document.

I would be happy to personally advise you on the topics of self-determination and your individual life and end-of-life planning.
